Getting an onion ready for export to France
Before an onion is ready for export to France, it makes a long journey. They are collected at the farmer and brought to our factory. They are weighed and unloaded, leaving them to dry. Next, they are cleaned, and the foliage gets removed. Then, the onions are sorted by size and quality, making them ready to be packed. Before they leave our company and are transported further into Europe, the onions are checked for quality by an external consultant to ensure you will only receive the best onions. Afterwards, the Dutch onion is ready for export.
